Job summary

XIST4 IT Recruitment Ltd in Slough is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements from discovery through to sign-off in a hybrid role.

You will map processes, write clear requirements and user stories, support QA and UAT, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across financial services environments while gaining deep knowledge of our application suite. Strong English communication skills and on-site presence three days a week are required.

• Hands-on BA with discovery to sign-off experience

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Several years of hands-on Business Analyst experience.
• Evidence of independently leading requirements from discovery through to sign-off.
• Strong process mapping and requirements documentation skills.
• Practical experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile or Kanban delivery.
• A good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience translating business problems into clear requirements for technical teams.
• Experience supporting testing and UAT.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Financial services experience, particularly banking, lending, consumer finance, insurance or another regulated financial environment, is highly desirable.

We are an established IT change team working between business stakeholders and technical delivery. This is a hybrid role based in Slough, with three days a week on site and a salary of £40,000 to £45,000. The role covers the full requirements lifecycle, from discovery and stakeholder interviews through to documentation, validation, testing and sign-off. A key early priority is learning our application suite in depth and building the knowledge to become a trusted subject matter expert.
