The role involves evaluating risks and controls across our fast-paced digital landscape, including core underwriting systems, cloud infrastructure, data governance, and cyber security, in a non-managerial, supportive environment. Qualifications

• Certification in IT audit or equivalent (CISA, CRISC, CISSP, ACA or equivalent)
• Return from career break of 2 years or more and keen to re-apply technology risk expertise
• Interest in emerging technologies (cloud, AI, data platforms) and their integration into business processes
• Ability to translate IT risk issues into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset to improve security and operations

Responsibilities

• IT risk assessment: engage IT and security teams to understand tech roadmap and assets
• Technical audit planning: draft audit plans focused on ITGCs, cyber security, change management, data integrity
• Audit execution: assess design and operation of IT controls, identify vulnerabilities and data quality concerns
• Reporting & collaboration: provide clear explanations of IT risks with actionable recommendations to management
• Continuous monitoring: track technology developments and coordinate remediation actions
