The Euroclear Internal Audit division is a dynamic team of 50+ people operating from four locations: Brussels, London, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Our mission is to help the Board and Executive Management protect the assets, value, reputation, and sustainability of Euroclear. We provide risk-based assurance and insight on governance, risk management, and internal control. To do so, we are organized by audit domains, including Operations, IT Cyber, Business, Legal & Compliance, Risk & Banking and Finance, Holding & People.

Role:

The key role of an IT Audit Manager is to analyze whether the controls in place are sufficient and effective to meet management’s objectives. Your primary expertise will be leading (or contributing to) complex audits of IT Operations, IT Development, and Cyber/Information Security across the Group. You will also have opportunities to cover other risks such as compliance, business operations, and projects. You will lead internal audit assignments.

Your objectives:

• Develop and complete the Audit Plan on time and within budget, in compliance with International Standards on Auditing and Euroclear’s audit methodology;
• Understand business drivers and suggest improvements to current processes and procedures to senior management to enhance efficiency;
• Establish proactive relationships with senior managers, promote awareness of internal controls, and demonstrate Internal Audit’s value;
• Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing ideas or participating in initiatives to enhance the audit process and division's efficiency.

Technical skills:

• At least 5 years of experience as an internal or external auditor performing Information Systems and Security audits;
• Strong knowledge of IT processes, development, and cyber/information security controls;
• Experience with technologies such as IBM Mainframe, Networks, Cloud, DLT, Tandem, Windows, UNIX is an asset;
• Development experience is also an asset;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Willingness to travel to other Euroclear entities;
• Professional certification or commitment to obtain one (e.g., CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP);
• Knowledge of auditing standards is a plus;
• Willingness to learn continuously;
