Job summary

Barclays seeks an IT Asset Catalog Analyst to collaborate with technology teams and optimise IT service management processes for the bank. The role focuses on asset lifecycle governance, data analytics, and reporting to support decision making.

You will work to ensure efficient service delivery aligned with regulatory requirements, develop KPIs, and train staff on updated ITAM/ITSM practices. Based in Knutsford, the position requires strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, and DevOps tools), and data analytics.
• Experience in software and hardware asset management, including end-to-end lifecycle and support management.
• Good knowledge of operational risk management, including Key Risk Indicators, Key Performance Indicators, reporting, and governance.
• Knowledge of, or experience with, ServiceNow ITAM and ITSM modules, including TRM, EA Workspace, SAM, and HAM.
• Good knowledge of product support management, including End of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise IT service asset processes.
• Maintain asset records and throughput metrics.
• Develop reports and KPIs to improve IT service delivery.
• Assess risks and strengthen controls in technology standards and processes.
• Provide training on new ITAM/ITSM processes and best practices.
