Job summary

Barclays in Knutsford is seeking an IT Asset Catalog Analyst to join the IT service management team. You will collaborate with technology teams to optimise the IT asset catalog, oversee lifecycle for software and hardware, and support delivery and governance.

The role requires analytical thinking, strong SQL and Excel skills, experience with asset management tools such as ServiceNow and SCCM, and knowledge of ITAM/ITSM modules. You will develop KPIs and report on risk and controls.

Qualifications

Analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel and asset management tools (ServiceNow, SCCM, DevOps) and data analytics.
Experience in software and hardware asset management lifecycle and support.
Knowledge of risk management, reporting and governance is valued.
Experience with ITAM/ITSM modules including TRM, EA Workspace, SAM and HAM is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain IT service processes for a large IT function.
Communicate process changes and improvements to stakeholders with reports and metrics.
Develop KPIs and analyse data from multiple sources to improve delivery and support.
Collaborate with the bank to align services with regulatory requirements.
Document IT service management processes to ensure consistency and repeatability.
Provide training on IT service management processes and best practices.
Identify and manage risk and control issues related to Technology Standards.
