Job summary

Softcat plc is seeking an Asset Intelligence Technical Team Leader to oversee a high-performing team delivering IT asset management tooling deployment, support, and consultancy services to customers. You will coordinate vendor engagement, drive improvements and lead strategic reviews within ITAM domains.

The role involves managing escalations, collaborating with stakeholders, and guiding service delivery while promoting innovative, flexible working practices across multiple UK offices.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in an IT services environment.
• Experience leading an IT services team, preferably in asset management.
• Solid understanding of IT Asset Management tooling and workflows.
• Hands-on knowledge of a Software Asset Management tool (Snow is desirable).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Asset Intelligence Technical team.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support and deliver consultancy services.
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders to triage and resolve client issues.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and promote new product offerings.
• Drive improvements and innovative working methods within the team.
