Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated IT Applications Support Analyst to join our manufacturing-focused IT team. You will support software applications used in semiconductor wafer manufacturing, troubleshoot issues, provide user support and training, and ensure system operations. This role offers opportunities for project work, continuous improvement, and collaboration within a global team.

This position provides learning and progression opportunities within a large IT team. Standard hours include a 2 pm finish on Fridays, with flexible working options.

Key responsibilities include:

• Primary contact for application issues, troubleshooting, and resolution
• Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions
• Support applications like MES, Process Control Systems, Tool Automation
• Perform software installations, upgrades, and patches
• Maintain documentation and monitor application performance
• Participate in testing and validation of new systems
• Work with vendors and IT teams on complex issues
• Stay updated on industry trends in manufacturing applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience/support in Linux systems
• Strong technical skills and troubleshooting ability
• Knowledge of databases and SQL
• Shell scripting skills
• Problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and seek improvements
• Flexibility for off-hours support

Beneficial skills:

• Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience with MES and manufacturing software
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes and automation protocols
