Job summary

Tata Consumer Products is seeking an IT Applications Consultant for our Eaglescliffe site in the UK. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and site leadership to translate requirements into practical application solutions and to support day-to-day operations.

This role focuses on business applications, operational systems and digital solutions, balancing BAU support with continuous improvement and project delivery across the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT applications, business systems, application support or IT consulting.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions.
• Knowledge of application support, incident management and change control processes.
• Strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver practical application solutions.
• Manage and support key factory and business applications essential to day-to-day operations.
• Lead application improvements, upgrades, testing and implementation activities.
• Maintain application interfaces, integrations and data flows to ensure system reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation, process maps, testing records and audit-ready controls.
• Identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements and process efficiency.
• Support cyber security, data protection and compliance requirements across application environments.
