This role is hybrid and requires3 days per week working onsite, this will alternate between our Shipton-under-Wychwood and Cheltenham offices.

Role Overview
As IT Administrator, you will work within the service delivery team and will be responsible formaintaining localnetworks, providing user support across multiple locations, and managing IT hardware (including Computers, network equipment, Wi-Fi, network cabinets, and printers).


What we're looking for

  • Strong competency in theinstallation, configuration, and ongoing support of Apple laptopsand MacOS.
  • Excellent customer support skills, with the ability to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues for end-users.
  • Comprehensive administrative skills within the Google Workspace suite, includinguser management, application configuration and security settings.
  • Fundamental understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and DNS.
  • Proficiencyin installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network and local printers.
  • Extensive experience with installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshootingWindows-based desktop and server operating systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, encompassing user accountmanagement, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Active Directory for user setup, permissionsmanagement and basic administration tasks.
  • A consistently friendly and helpful attitude, with a proactive approach to user support and problem-solving.
  • IT technical qualifications, ITIL knowledge or Windows/Mac certifications would be desirable but are not essential for this role.

What you'll do

  • Ensure the completion of IT administration tasks and provide best in classsupport for both users and IT equipment.
  • Source, maintain and dispatch IT hardware/Laptops/PCs and printers.
  • Provide assistance to users with their IT issues and questions, ensuring smooth support for users across the major environments and apps in use at VoCoVo.
  • Ensure user set-up/basic configuration and timely provision of new useraccounts, changing privileges when user rights need changing, and suspending orremoving accounts when users leave.
  • Ensure the asset list, IT documentation and training information are up to date.
  • Supporting the local network and providing support for users and IT equipment at multiplelocations.
  • Assisting with network change and upgrade projects, server updates and newserver installations.

Salary
Salary range: £32,000 - £37,000
