East Surrey College / John Ruskin College is seeking an IT 1st Line Support Technician to join the IT Services team. You will provide first-line technical support to staff and students across College campuses, troubleshoot hardware and software, and support a modern Microsoft 365 environment.
The role is full-time (37 hours/week) with a salary of £28,337 per annum. Interviews are expected week commencing 5 October. We offer pension choices, holiday allowance, free onsite parking and gym access.

Are you passionate about technology and delivering excellent customer service? We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive IT 1st Line Support Technician to join our IT Services team and play a key role in supporting the systems and technologies that underpin teaching, learning and business operations across the College Group.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people and supporting a modern Microsoft 365 environment. You'll be part of a collaborative team, providing first-line technical support to staff and students while contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT services.
You'll act as the first point of contact for IT support requests, providing timely and effective assistance via phone, email, ticketing systems and face-to-face support. You'll troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, configure and deploy devices, support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint, and assist with account management and user access requests. You'll also help maintain accurate documentation, support onboarding and offboarding activities, monitor IT systems, and work closely with colleagues to identify opportunities for service improvement.
Interviews are expected to take place week commencing the 5th of October.
