Job summary

Electrium is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our EHS team at the Hindley Green facility. You will drive environmental governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires expertise in ISO 14001/ISO 50001, UK and international environmental law, and strong data reporting using KPIs. Hybrid working arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Environmental & Energy Management Systems (ISO 14001/ISO 50001).
• Understanding of UK and international environmental and energy legislation.

Responsibilities

• Be instrumental in ensuring robust environmental governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and coordinate ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certification activities.
• Maintain environmental and energy legal registers, conduct compliance evaluations, and provide evidence records (e.g., WEEE, Battery, Plastic, & Packaging).
• Collect, analyse, and report environmental and energy performance data, KPIs, and trends to inform management reviews and strategic decision-making.
• Drive initiatives for resource efficiency, waste minimisation, and pollution prevention.
• Contribute significantly to long-term sustainability objectives and carbon reduction strategies.
