Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join the team on the Isle of Man for 37.5 hours per week. You will assist individuals with daily living tasks, support independence, and work closely with Team Leaders to deliver person-centred plans in a respectful environment.

The role requires numeracy, literacy, and strong communication. Desirable experience in health and social care is preferred, with flexibility to meet service needs.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders and managers to prepare and implement individual and group support programs.
• Promote a safe working and living environment, resolving conflicts or challenging behaviours using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure medication is stored and administered according to policy when necessary.
• Record and log important information per reporting guidelines.
• Stay informed about all service policies and procedures and participate in related training.
