Job summary

Safran in Gloucester is seeking an Information Systems Lead and Business Analyst to own the IS landscape at the MRO site, guiding a team and driving technology solutions aligned with Safran's global IS strategy.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business and the Safran Group to ensure reliable, secure systems while championing digital transformation and continuous improvement. The role combines technical leadership with business analysis to create measurable value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and coaching a team.
• Strong ability to analyse business and technical requirements.
• Experience building and modelling data for reporting.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile project delivery.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and secure development practices.
• Experience in creating clear technical and user procedures.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Information Systems roadmap for the Gloucester MRO site.
• Lead a team of Service Delivery Analysts and Software Developers.
• Drive major technology projects to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Partner with Global IS to share best practices and align standards.
• Support ISMS implementation and regulatory compliance (IS security).
• Ensure daily IT service excellence and strong stakeholder communication.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for developers.
• Facilitate agile sprint planning and prioritisation.
• Keep stakeholders informed on progress, risks and plans.
• Gather requirements and convert them into detailed specs for devs.
• Lead full lifecycle of new applications.
