UK Power Networks is seeking an IS End-user Computing Support Engineer to deliver high-quality IT support from the Ipswich office. The role involves deskside and remote support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and meeting room tech, across teams including Control and Dispatch.
You will handle incidents, services requests and access management using ITSM tooling, while contributing to endpoint security and device configuration alongside internal resolver groups and suppliers.

UK Power Networks is looking for an IS End-user Computing Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support across the business from our Ipswich office.
In this permanent role, you will deliver deskside and remote IT support for colleagues, senior stakeholders and operational teams. You will resolve incidents and service requests, support laptops, desktops, mobile and field devices, printers, meeting room technology, Teams, Outlook, Exchange and business applications, while ensuring users are kept informed and issues are managed through to resolution.
You will also help build and configure devices, support user access requests, maintain accurate records in ITSM tools, contribute to endpoint compliance and security activity, and work with internal resolver groups and third-party suppliers to progress technical issues. The role offers variety, ownership and the opportunity to support key business departments including Control and Dispatch and the Service Delivery Contact Centre.

We are looking for someone with experience supporting desktop systems, hardware, Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Teams, Outlook/Exchange, Active Directory or Entra ID, endpoint management tools such as Intune or SCCM, mobile device management and ITSM processes. A degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required, along with at least one relevant certification such as MCSA, A+, Network+ or Security+.
