Job summary

Consult2Recruit is seeking an experienced HGV Fitter to join our client's team in the Nuneaton area. The role covers maintenance, servicing and repair of LGV/HGV vehicles, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities include preparing vehicles for MOT, testing where required, and maintaining accurate service records. Candidates should have IRTEC certification and a strong background with HGVs and related equipment.

Qualifications

• IRTEC certification is essential.
• Good knowledge and practical experience of HGVs.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a range of HGVs and equipment.
• Knowledge of safe loading working devices.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and service HGV vehicles and equipment.
• Carry out maintenance on plant and equipment as required.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT/annual testing and road tests.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
