Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) CAMHS is offering a 12-month full-time Interpersonal Therapy for Adolescents Trainee post (Band 6). Based at Bolton CAMHS, you will split time between clinical practice and a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma training, with supervision and study components.

You will complete both clinical and academic aspects and rotate between site-based work and the training program over the year.

Qualifications

• Experience of Assessment and care planning skills, risk assessment and risk management for CYPs with mental health needs.
• Experience of working with young people
• Experience of working in Community CAMHS
• Therapeutic experience
• Interest in and awareness of chosen modality

Responsibilities

• Based within CAMHS services and attending the training course.
• Complete both clinical and academic aspects of the training within 12 months.
• Based at Bolton CAMHS 3 days a week and in training for the other 2 days.
