Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Team Leader for the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Services in Knowsley and St Helens. The IPS service supports Mersey Care service users with severe and enduring mental health conditions who are under Community Mental Health and/or Early Intervention Teams and are seeking paid employment as part of their recovery journey. The IPS Teams are situated under the portfolio of The Life Rooms.

Main duties of the job:

  1. The Team Leader Will Be Responsible For:
  2. Managing and providing support for up to 7 Employment Specialists, each co-located in a clinical team.
  3. Overseeing delivery of the service specification, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and reported through quarterly performance reports to Commissioners.
  4. Ensuring the service is well governed through monthly Quality Improvement Group reports.
  5. Ensuring the service meets quality standards through IPS Fidelity Reviews.
  6. Promoting continuous development of the service and identifying new opportunities.
