Blackpool Council is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to support people with long-term health conditions to find sustainable work in Blackpool. You will manage a caseload, work with local employers and provide person-centred employment advice with full training on the IPS model.

The role requires excellent communication, time management and organisational skills, a valid vehicle for community travel, and a commitment to outreach across town centre offices and local events.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in IAG or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience providing employment support or guidance.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and meet employers in the community.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of clients with barriers to employment.
• Engage with local employers to secure opportunities and negotiate reasonable adjustments.
• Deliver IPS support model with holistic, person-centred guidance and referrals.
• Collaborate with referral agencies and be involved in community outreach.
