Job summary

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Employment Specialist to join the Employment Support Service in Chesterfield & Killamarsh. You will work within a CMHT to help individuals on mental health journeys identify, pursue, and sustain suitable paid employment using IPS principles.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Individual Placement and Support (IPS) principles.
• Experience in mental health vocational rehabilitation or employment support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with mental health needs to identify and secure paid employment.
• Meet clients regularly to discuss goals, skills, and aspirations and provide CV and interview support.
• Provide in-work support and design return-to-work strategies to aid job retention.
• Advocate with employers and educate them about IPS services.
• Source job opportunities through relationships with local employers.
