Job summary

Shaw Trust is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist based in Birmingham to empower people with health support needs to obtain meaningful, sustainable work. You’ll work with participants, health professionals and employers to deliver a person-centred IPS service, building confidence and removing barriers.

You’ll manage your own caseload and work towards targets for starts, outcomes and job retention, while embodying Shaw Trust’s values. Training will be provided to deliver the IPS approach.

Responsibilities

• Empower people with health support needs to find meaningful, sustainable work that matches their ambitions, strengths and circumstances.
• Work closely with participants, health professionals, service providers and employers to provide personalised support throughout the employment journey.
• Deliver using the National IPS approach, with full training to provide a high-quality, person-centred service.
• Manage your own caseload and work towards programme starts, job outcomes and retention targets.
