Job summary

Waythrough is seeking an IPS Service Manager to lead a team delivering Individual Placement and Support employment services. You will manage relationships with employers and key partners, ensuring IPS Fidelity standards and contractual requirements are met.

The role requires strong IPS expertise, leadership experience, and hands-on contract management to drive continuous service improvement and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the IPS model and Fidelity principles.
• Experience managing and developing teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Substantial experience in contract management, business planning and managing budgets.
• Experience in audits, performance monitoring and using management information to improve services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of IPS employment specialists.
• Ensure the service delivers high-quality, person-centred employment support in line with the IPS model.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, JCP, DWP and other stakeholders.
• Provide training, mentoring and guidance to staff, employers and partners.
• Monitor service performance, management information and data quality.
• Support contract management, reporting and preparation of information for commissioners.
• Oversee audits, risk management, health and safety, and compliance across the service.
• Identify opportunities for service development, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Act as an expert lead for IPS, sharing good practice across Waythrough.
