Job summary

Waythrough is seeking an IPS Service Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of an IPS employment service for people with mental health difficulties. You will manage a team of six, nurture relationships with employers and partners, and ensure fidelity to IPS standards and contractual requirements.

You will drive service quality, monitor performance and data quality, and support continuous improvement across the service. A full UK driving licence and own transport are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and understanding of the IPS model and Fidelity principles.
• Experience of managing and developing teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Substantial experience of contract management, business planning and managing budgets.
• Experience of audits, performance monitoring and using management information to improve services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employers, commissioners and partners.
• A full clean driving licence and access to your own transport.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of IPS employment specialists.
• Ensure the service delivers high-quality, person-centred employment support in line with the IPS model.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with employers, JCP, DWP and other stakeholders.
• Provide training, mentoring and guidance to staff, employers and partners.
• Monitor service performance, management information and data quality.
• Support contract management, reporting and preparation of information for commissioners.
• Oversee audits, risk management, health and safety, and compliance across the service.
• Identify opportunities for service development, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Act as an expert lead for IPS, sharing good practice across Waythrough.
