Job summary

TechPoint Group is expanding its world-class UK facility and seeks skilled technicians to solder complex PCB assemblies to IPC/J-STD levels. You will join a small team responsible for producing products for leading technology companies and read manufacturing drawings and route cards to ensure conformance.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing soldering to IPC class 2 or 3 and/or J-STD levels.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings/route cards.
• Pro-active approach to reporting to quality/engineering/operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Soldering a wide range of PTH components to IPC or J-STD level.
• Reworking to IPC/J-STD level standards.
• Operating X-ray/wave soldering and other assembly equipment.
• Manufacturing cable and small mechanical assemblies and enclosures.
• Reading manufacturing drawings and documentation for build conformance.
