UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is seeking an Intellectual Property Coordinator to join the Innovation Unit and manage our IP portfolio. You will act as the lead administrator for our IP software, keep precise records, and support patent and trademark prosecution activities across internal teams and external attorneys.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths, plus A levels or Level 3 qualification or relevant work experience.
• CIPA IP Paralegal qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in a complex technical or professional environment.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Act as Lead Administrator for IP and innovation management software.
• Maintain accurate IP records and produce reports.
• Provide admin support for patent and trademark prosecution.
• Monitor IP filing, prosecution and grant activities and deadlines.
• Coordinate with external patent attorneys and issue instructions.
