Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a forward-thinking law firm in Manchester to recruit an Intellectual Property Partner to build and lead a dedicated IP practice within a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.

You will advise on trade marks, copyright, design rights, patents and licensing, develop client relationships, drive business development, and shape the growth and future direction of the IP team in a hybrid, flexible working setting.

Qualifications

• Significant PQE in Intellectual Property law.
• Experience across trade marks, copyright, design rights, patents and licensing.
• Commercially minded with ability to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the firm's Intellectual Property practice with autonomy.
• Advise on contentious and non-contentious IP matters including licensing.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to identify opportunities for clients.
• Develop relationships with businesses across industries as IP adviser.
• Lead business development and raise the firm’s IP profile.
