William James Recruitment is seeking an Intellectual Property Senior Associate in Manchester to advise a diverse client base across technology, life sciences, media on contentious and non-contentious IP matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with strong IP experience in contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Experience advising on trade marks, copyright, licensing and IP strategy.
• Strong commercial awareness with pragmatic, business-focused advice.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Mentoring juniors and contributing to IP practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of IP matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
• Support businesses on trade marks, copyright, licensing and IP strategy.
• Collaborate with teams across Commercial, Corporate and Litigation.
• Develop and grow the IP offering within the Commercial Services strategy.
• Mentor junior lawyers and nurture client relationships.
