Chadwick Nott is assisting a prestigious UK Top 20 law firm in Bristol to recruit an IP Partner. You will handle a broad IP docket, spanning contentious and non-contentious matters, while mentoring junior solicitors and collaborating with UK/US teams.

The successful candidate will drive business development, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to building a leading IP practice in a global context. Permanent, full-time role with negotiable salary.

• 10+ years' post-qualification IP experience
• Proven track record handling high-value IP matters
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

Our client, a prestigious UK Top 20 law firm with a global presence and teams spanning the US and UK, in in search of a Partner to contribute to continued growth and success of their intellectual property team.

The successful candidate can expect to be an integral and key member of the team, responsible for:

• Handling a comprehensive range of IP work encompassing both contentious and non-contentious aspects. This will involve managing matters such as IP rights disputes, negotiating agreements, overseeing assignments, licenses, confidentiality agreements research and development agreements and more.
• Collaborate with senior team members in the UK and US.
• Mentor and supervise junior solicitors, whilst serving as a knowledgeable resource for and IP expertise.
• Actively engaging in business development and client interactions to enhance both team and personal reputation as an IP specialist.

Whilst a following is not mandatory, it is desirable. My client seeks an individual with a proven record in robust IP work, advising significant clients on high-value matters, and possessing the passion and experience necessary for cultivating and advancing a leading team.
