Job summary

Camlin Group is seeking a Software Product Owner to lead end-to-end ownership of device-side software for an IoT portfolio. You will define and refine the product vision, prioritise features for reliability, security and performance, and translate complex requirements into actionable user stories for embedded teams.

You will collaborate with firmware, Linux, hardware, and cloud groups, applying BDD practices and driving agile ceremonies to deliver high-value software for field deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience delivering end-to-end IoT devices across embedded systems and software.
• Solid understanding of device firmware lifecycles, OTA updates, and diagnostics.
• Hands-on collaboration with DSP/FPGA, firmware, electronics and platform teams.
• Ability to unite domain experts to resolve interfaces early and drive delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine the product vision and roadmap for device-side software and embedded capabilities.
• Evaluate and prioritise features related to device performance, security and reliability.
• Translate customer requirements into clear, technically informed user stories for embedded teams.
• Apply BDD with acceptance criteria in testable formats to improve verification.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, cloud and data teams for end-to-end coherence.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure quality releases for field deployments.
