IoT Systems Architect (LV/HV) — End-to-End

The role focuses on end-to-end system architecture for IoT devices in LV and HV environments, coordinating hardware, firmware, software, and field operations to ensure robust, secure, and field-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or similar.
• Proven experience delivering physical IoT devices integrating electronics, sensors, embedded firmware, and mechanical components.
• Experience with low voltage systems, high voltage systems, or both, ideally in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of system lifecycle processes including requirements analysis, architecture definition, integration, verification, validation, and risk management.
• Deep knowledge of embedded/realtime systems, microcontrollers, sensor chains, power systems, and hardware–software interactions.
• Experience defining and managing complex hardware–software interfaces in LV and HV contexts.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end system architecture for IoT products in LV/HV environments.
• Define system concepts, scenarios, constraints, and success criteria across energy applications.
• Apply structured SE processes: requirements, architecture, integration, risk, verification/validation.
• Support decisions with modelling, simulations, and trade studies.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear, testable requirements across domains.
• Develop and maintain system artefacts: block diagrams, ICDs, behavioural flows, deployment models.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, design, risks, and verification.
