Job summary

Resident Advisor is seeking an iOS-focused developer to join the Apps team in Manchester. You will ship features to the RA Guide app, work closely with the Apps lead, an Android developer, and a product manager to deliver high-quality iOS experiences.

You’ll write Swift with UIKit/SwiftUI, implement tests, and participate in code reviews while collaborating with design and web teams. This full-time role offers growth toward seniority and supports testing and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience releasing an iOS app to the App Store.
• Solid Swift, and experience with UIKit or SwiftUI.
• You can take a feature from design to release with some guidance.
• You write code others can test and maintain.
• You work well with product, design and other developers.

Responsibilities

• Build new features and improvements from designs and specs, and see them through to the App Store.
• Write testable Swift, with unit tests and UI tests alongside it.
• Fix bugs and crashes, using our monitoring to find what’s hurting users most.
• Take part in code review, giving and getting feedback.
• Work with the product manager and designer to turn user needs into a polished experience.
• Use AI tools where they help, and check what they produce.
