Location: Darlington/Hybrid (2-3 days in office each week)
Contract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours, Monday–Friday)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience. Includes a company car or car allowance and a 10% management bonus.

As the Invoicing to Cash (I2C) Manager, you’ll report to the Head of Finance Operations and oversee billing and cash collection efficiency. Your strategic leadership will align processes with business objectives, foster team collaboration, and support continuous improvement to ensure success.

Role Overview:

1. Streamline Processes: Optimise I2C workflows for the Rental Business Unit.
2. Achieve KPIs: Drive key metrics like cash collection, invoice accuracy, debt management, and minimise ageing debt.
3. Lead a Team: Inspire and manage a high-performing team of 60+ employees across finance and operations.
4. Foster Innovation: Create a culture of improvement, with monthly progress reporting.
5. Manage Risk: Oversee customer risk profiles, legal escalations, and bad debt actions.
6. Deliver Insights: Provide actionable reporting to stakeholders to support business decisions.

Note: Occasional travel to other sites may be required.

About you

1. Previous experience in credit management, cash collection, and billing.
2. Expertise in process improvement and driving efficiency.
3. Leadership skills with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
4. Ability to influence and drive change.
5. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
6. Proven track record at a senior management level.
7. Member of Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
8. Knowledge of rental or insurance billing and cash collection processes.
