Description

An exciting opportunity at a global asset manager to work directly alongside the Head of IR and CEO to help formulate and execute the investor relations strategy. The role will work as part of the central management team and will be responsible for the IR strategy, managing relationships with the sell-side and investors.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the central management team to help develop a proactive investor relations strategy and narrative.
2. Ensure the company’s business strategy is understood by the analyst and investor community.
3. Support in the launch of the process and systems to build a steadfast IR function.
4. Contribute to management speeches and investor presentations.
5. Help manage relationships with investors, analysts, and prospective clients ensuring they understand the company performance and long term potential.

Candidate Profile:

1. 3-7 years of experience in financial services, preferably coming from a Strategy Consultancy, Business Strategy, or Investor Relations.
2. Strong academics; ideally with some form of post-graduate financial qualification.
3. Highly numerate, with the ability to understand analysts’ models.
4. Excellent communication skills to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
5. Excellent relationship building – ability to build trusted relationships at a senior level.
6. Results focused – clear attention to detail and the ability to work at pace.
7. Enthusiastic, proactive, and capable of working independently.
8. Good market knowledge is essential.
