A boutique Private Equity Manager are looking to add an Investor Relations Officer to their team in London. You will be working in a growing, ambitious team and supporting on project management for fundraises, as well as on the management of existing LPs and investor reporting. The firm has a collaborative, heads up culture and you will have a varied role with lots of exposure within the business.

The Role

You will be working alongside coverage colleagues on the project management of fundraises, helping arrange campaigns and roadshows, preparing materials and pitch decks. You will also be involved in LP management, giving regular updates, providing information and working to the highest level of client service. The firm are launching a new sustainability focused investment strategy and you will work directly with the partners and lead investment team for this strategy in the future and become a product expert.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role, preferred candidates will have:

• An an excellent project management skillset, derived by a minimum of three years in a professional financial services role (such as Big 4 audit/transactions, M&A investment banking or private markets investment)
• A natural interest in emerging markets and sustainability, ideally with some kind of professional or personal experience that shows this interest
• Refined financial and analytical skills combined with very strong attention to detail and a mother tongue level of fluency in English (written and spoken)

To be successful in this role, it is desirable you have:

• Experience in an in-house investor relations role or in the project management arm of a private placement firm.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• A collaborative, team-first attitude where you can work effectively with colleagues towards the bigger picture
• Great attention to detail and time management skills
