Job summary

Our Jersey-based client is seeking an Investment Risk Officer to support risk and compliance oversight within the Investment Division. The role is based in Jersey and is not open to relocation or sponsorship; only local residents are eligible.

You will identify, analyse and manage risks associated with investment operations and maintain a coherent governance structure within the division. Duties include designing control framework, handling breaches, preparing reports and risk indicators, and

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of financial services experience, especially in securities.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and compliance.
• Ability to articulate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the investment division control framework.
• Manage breaches, incidents, and complaints; review reports.
• Investigate breaches/incidents to identify root causes.
• Prepare risk reports and KPIs for governance meetings.
• Monitor client suitability reviews and investment mandates.
• Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality; support business continuity.
