Job summary

M&G plc in Stirling or Edinburgh is recruiting an Assistant Investment Propositions Manager to support the management and governance of the PruFund and other life and unit-linked propositions. You will coordinate inputs from Investment Proposition Managers, prepare management information, and help ensure customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasises BAU delivery, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with hybrid working (2 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, ideally within investment propositions, life and pensions, funds, product, operations, investment governance or a related area.
• Understanding of investment funds and how they are used within life, pension or retail investment propositions.
• Awareness of smoothed/with-profits funds, unit-linked funds and collective investments.
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge with demonstrable capability in Excel.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to prepare concise papers and updates.

Responsibilities

• Proposition management and BAU support for retail investment propositions including PruFund and unit-linked funds.
• Undertake regular proposition and fund-related activities, including information gathering and action tracking.
• Assist with proposition change, fund developments, reviews and implementation activities.
• Coordinate inputs from relevant teams, ensuring dependencies and decisions are recorded.
• Support reviews of fund outcomes, governance and controls in line with regulatory requirements.
