Overview:
We are a rapidly growing private investment firm focused on strategic investments and long-term value creation, currently expanding our global presence. We're seeking a talented Investment Manager based in London, the UK, or Europe. The selected candidate will be invited for a 1-week trial in New York, with all travel and accommodation expenses fully covered by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute investment strategies aligned with the firm’s objectives across various asset classes, including private equity, structured products, and direct investments.
- Identify, assess, and evaluate new investment opportunities through rigorous due diligence, financial modelling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment.
- Conduct comprehensive market and sector research to inform investment theses and monitor economic trends.
- Support deal origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution, working closely with external partners, legal advisors, and counterparties.
- Prepare and present investment memos, internal reports, and recommendations to senior management and the investment committee.
- Monitor existing investments, track performance against benchmarks, and recommend adjustments or exits where necessary.
- Liaise with portfolio companies and partners to ensure strategic alignment and identify value creation opportunities.
- Maintain and update detailed investment records, models, and documentation to ensure transparency and decision-making efficiency.
- Contribute to the firm’s capital allocation strategy and assist in optimizing portfolio construction and risk management frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support governance, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Undertake assignments and provide strategic input as required by the Board of Directors and Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Based in the UK or Europe (preferably in or near London).
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in investment management, private equity, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modelling skills with proven investment execution experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing and presenting investment proposals.
- Deep understanding of investment structures, valuation methodologies, and due diligence processes.
- Highly organized, independent, and able to manage multiple deals and priorities across regions.
- Willingness to travel internationally, including a 1-week trial in New York under company expenses.
