Talent Acquisition Manager - Specialist Hires and Projects at Pension Insurance Corporation

Role Purpose:

We have a great opportunity for an Investment Data Integrity Analyst to maintain investment data on PIC investment systems to the quality required by investors and stakeholders in the investment process. You will ensure data is consistently applied, structured and represented in the investment operational data estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to PIC's Investment teams, managing instrument set up and configuration data as part of the pre and post trade lifecycle, ensuring traded positions and the investible universe are appropriately configured and referenced.
  • Participate in the design and modelling of new instrument configurations, ensuring accuracy of cashflows, pricing and valuations where appropriate.
  • Participate in lifecycle data management activities, such as start of and intraday data controls, driving high quality data for investors.
  • Reconcile key data sets between investment book of record and risk system.
  • Act as SME to resolve instrument data set up queries, pricing challenges to 3rd party vendors, valuation and risk investigation.
  • Work with internal data and technology teams, as well as external solutions providers, to design, implement and improve processes that drive data quality.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

You must have experience of working in a corporate or consulting environment, the majority in banking, asset management, insurance, or hedge fund.

Technical:

  • Strong technical knowledge of fixed income, derivatives and private debt instruments with respect to set up, pricing, valuation, risk and ongoing maintenance on Aladdin platform.
  • Familiar with market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv and other reference data / pricing vendors.
  • Lifecycle data management, focusing on start of day, trading lifecycle and associated data quality controls.
  • Pricing & valuation methodologies across the range of instruments.
  • Ideally knowledge of the Aladdin investment platform.

Personal:

  • Experience in working closely with investment teams.
  • Experience of delivering change and projects.
  • Ability to manipulate, analyse and manage data in a structured way.
  • Strong communication skills, being a point of contact for investors.
  • Ability to persuade and influence both directly and indirectly.
  • Ability to organise work to meet deadlines.
