A leading investment bank in London is hiring at the Senior Analyst level for FIG M&A. You will be a core member of the deal team, contributing to live transaction execution and origination, while building and owning financial models, and preparing client-facing materials.

Responsibilities scale with seniority, including leading workstreams, managing due diligence, and liaising with clients and advisers to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in FIG M&A within an IB, advisory firm, or Big 4/Top 10 lead advisory team.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis capability.
• Academics and a strong commitment to a career in financial services advisory.

Responsibilities

• Building and owning financial models, including valuation, returns, accretion/dilution and scenario analysis
• Preparing client-facing materials such as pitch books, information memoranda and management presentations
• Leading and coordinating workstreams across the transaction lifecycle, from origination through to completion
• Managing due diligence processes and liaising directly with clients, advisers and counterparties
• Conducting sector, company and market analysis to support live mandates and business development
• (Associate level) Taking ownership of execution, mentoring junior team members and acting as a key point of contact for clients

Who We're Looking For

This role is designed for candidates with prior FIG/FS M&A experience gained at an investment bank, advisory firm or a big 4/top 10 lead advisory team.

You will likely bring:

• Demonstrable transaction experience within FIG M&A — banking, insurance, asset/wealth management, specialty finance or fintech
• Currently an Analyst at a FIG team within an Investment Bank or Advisory firm, or Big 4, Top 10 M&A (Lead Advisory) team
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability, with sharp attention to detail
• For Associates: proven ability to run workstreams, manage juniors and engage directly with clients
• Excellent academics and a genuine commitment to a career in financial services advisory
