Infrastructure Equity Associate

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing individual with a strong academic background and relevant experience in infrastructure or energy project finance, or M&A. Suitable candidates will likely have gained this experience at a top-tier investment bank or boutique advisory firm.

About the Role:

As an Associate in the Infrastructure Equity team, you will play an integral role across the entire investment lifecycle. This includes sourcing and executing transactions, managing portfolio companies, and supporting exit strategies. You will work closely with senior team members and external advisors to evaluate new investments, develop and challenge financial models, perform valuations and sensitivity analyses, and lead key due diligence workstreams. You’ll also contribute to the preparation of investment materials for internal approvals.

Outside of deal execution, you’ll support strategic initiatives such as market mapping and sector deep-dives, helping to identify and originate new investment opportunities. On the asset management side, you'll collaborate with portfolio company management teams on areas including business planning, budgeting, board reporting, capital expenditure, value creation initiatives, and refinancing. Over time, you will have the opportunity to take board observer or director roles.

Key Requirements:

• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, with strong commercial awareness and a proven track record in valuation and investment analysis.
• Hands-on experience working on live transactions, ideally in the European infrastructure and/or energy transition sectors.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, business models, and key value/risk drivers.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional European language skills are a plus but not required.
