THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners has partnered with a leading international private equity fund that is looking to hire an additional Investment Associate for their UK mid-market strategy.

The team focuses on UK-headquartered SMEs in Industrials, Services, and Healthcare sectors that can benefit from capital for growth and a hands-on value creation strategy to ensure optimal scaling.

THE ROLE:

• Evaluate and execute new investments with a hands-on approach.
• Build and review financial models, conduct valuation work, and prepare investment committee materials.
• Perform detailed due diligence, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and regulatory assessment.
• Support portfolio monitoring activities, working closely with management teams and operating partners to drive value creation.
• Collaborate across origination, deal execution, and exit planning processes.
• Maintain market intelligence on trends, competitors, and M&A activity.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking and/or Private Equity, preferably with exposure to Industrials or Healthcare sectors.
• Focus or exposure to the UK market is preferred.
