National Grid in the United Kingdom is seeking an Investment Accountant to join our Capital Accounting Business Process team. You will provide financial support to multiple projects, focusing on forecasts, information management and reporting to aid decision-making and successful delivery.

The role is based at our Warwick office with flexible working patterns and the option to be in the office more often. We welcome conversations about working arrangements that suit you.

Formación

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Engagement with business management and strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain financial reports detailing spend by project.
• Set up projects in a timely manner for cost accounting.
• Collaborate with finance partners and project teams on actual and forecast costs.
• Ensure costs are recognised in books based on value of work done.
• Provide timely month-end reporting to project managers.
• Run forecast and consolidation processes for monthly forecasts.
• Input approved forecasts and budgets into local systems per timetables.
• Ensure financial controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
