Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking an Investment Accountant to support project-level financial reporting, forecasts, and cost tracking within the Capital Accounting Business Process team. The role is based in Warwick and offers some in-office flexibility with at least two days per week in the office.

You will work with finance partners, manage month-end reporting, and ensure accurate recognition of project costs, helping drive informed decision-making for ET and SI portfolios.

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc).
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting in a large international setting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial reports detailing project spend (ET/SI portfolios).
• Set up projects in line with approvals to accurately account for costs.
• Collaborate with finance partners and project teams to reflect progress in actual and forecast costs.
