Dyfed Powys Police seeks a Police Staff member based at Carmarthen to balance investigatory tasks for volume and priority crime, ASB, and other reports, delivering a first-class public service. The role requires shifting between 7am and midnight, seven days a week, in a fixed location at Dyfed-Powys HQ.
You will identify appropriate actions, inform callers of outcomes, and maintain high levels of customer service while adhering to safeguarding and SLAs.
You will balance investigatory tasks relating to volume and priority crime, ASB and other reported matters, to provide a first-class response to the public, finalising the suitable outcomes.
This role is a fixed location, based at a Dyfed-Powys Headquarters in Carmarthen. You will be required to work shifts which range between 7am to Midnight, 7 days a week
We are looking for individuals who have good communication skills to deal with enquires from a variety of people, both via the telephone or electronic media and who also have the ability to accurately record and investigate reported incidents., We are committed to being a bilingual organisation and any application submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application made in English.
