Job summary

Escape Recruitment is partnering with a growing, family-owned manufacturing business in Glenrothes to recruit an Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator. This newly created role offers ownership of stock control and warehouse activities as the business grows.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager, be hands-on in the warehouse, manage stock movements, support production and coordinate UK deliveries, and help implement a new ERP system.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, inventory or materials role in manufacturing.
• Hands-on, keeps stock accurate and ensures materials and finished goods are in place.
• Takes ownership, uses initiative and seeks solutions.
• Good communication and ability to guide a colleague.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock control across raw materials and finished goods.
• Check incoming materials, record deliveries and issue stock to production.
• Ensure finished goods are recorded, picked, packed and dispatched on time.
• Coordinate parcel and pallet deliveries with external logistics providers.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, carry out stock counts and improve accuracy.
• Review existing systems and processes; help implement a fit-for-purpose ERP.
• Support day-to-day warehouse activities and work with production and operations.
• Deputise for the Operations Manager when required.
