Job summary

GXO is seeking an Inventory Team Leader for our VMO2 contract at a busy shared-user warehouse in Wellingborough. You will lead a team of Inventory Clerks, ensuring stock accuracy, operating to SLA and supporting operational excellence. Strong DLX/Red Prairie and advanced Excel skills are essential.

The role is full-time with a fixed night shift pattern (18:00–02:00) across any 5 of 7 days, offering up to £35,000 per year plus benefits. Join GXO and help shape high-performance logistics teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Strong inventory control background and accuracy focus.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivots, lookups and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Inventory Clerks to maintain accurate stock levels and SLA adherence.
• Coordinate with Inventory Manager and FLM to optimize stock control processes.
• Allocate resources and review workloads to meet daily tasks and deadlines.
• Conduct briefs, appraisals and HR processes per company standards.
• Liaise with internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth operations.
