Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Team Leader for our busy Wellingborough site. You will lead an inventory-focused team, ensure accurate stock control, and partner with the Inventory Manager and FLM to drive operational excellence.

Strong Excel and DLX/Red Prairie experience are essential, with clear communication across the site. The role is full-time on-site, with a 5-out-of-7 shift pattern between 10:00 and 18:00, offering a competitive salary and benefits package including pension

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems, ideally DLX/ Red Prairie.
• Experience in inventory/stock control within a warehouse environment is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Ensure effective communication to colleagues and management daily.

Responsibilities

• Support in delivering SLAs and KPIs per contract requirements and flag risks.
• Create, improve, and maintain logs, files, spreadsheets, and SOPs.
• System checks and alignment of orders with WMS and data.
• Cycle count management and oversight of manual order maintenance.
• Support stock and finance investigations, audits, and data collection.
• Undertake special projects and provide statistics/reports as required.
• Lead operational teams in a fast-paced warehouse setting, preferably inventory-focused.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inventory Team Leader to take charge in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll bring advanced Excel skills, solid WMS knowledge (ideally DLX/Red Prairie), and a sharp eye for detail - all while leading a team and ensuring clear, consistent communication across the site.,

Responsibilities

• Support in deliverance of SLAs and KPIs in line with contract requirements, calling out any potential risks
• Create/improve/maintain all logs, files, spreadsheets, SOPs
• System checks, alignment of order to warehouse management systems, and system to off system data
• Cycle count management, manual order maintenance and oversight
• Support of stock and finance investigation queries along with audits and data collection/provision
• Undertake special projects, provide statistics and reports as required
• A proven track record of successfully leading operational teams in a fast-paced warehouse setting is essential, preferably within an inventory-focused operation

This is a full-time, permanent, position working on an any 5 out of 7 days shift pattern, between the hours of 10:00 - 18:00., We're looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum, and 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
