Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Warehouse Operative for its Kidlington site. You will join the Inventory Operations and Supply Management team to safeguard stock and provide real-time visibility of holdings, supporting operational teams during incidents.

The role involves safe operation of equipment, SAP-based stock updates, and timely loading/unloading of stock across Distribution Centres. Flexibility and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience required; proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Hold a valid, full UK driving licence and have your own transport.
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use SAP to ensure stock levels reflect real-time holdings and update records.
• Safely load/unload vehicles and handle daily receipts from Distribution Centres.
• Action returns against work orders and maintain good housekeeping across site.
