Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Inventory Operator to join as a Warehouse Operative in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. You will provide safe custody and real-time visibility of stock, ensuring efficient delivery and collection across Thames Water locations.

The role involves operating equipment, SAP-based stock control, and maintaining accurate records on a 45-hour weekly rota. We offer a 32k salary, pension, holidays, and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience required.
• Valid, full UK driving licence with own transport.
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written skills.
• FLT licence is beneficial but not essential; training provided.
• Basic computer skills, specifically Excel.
• Be comfortable with manual handling, lifting up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely.
• Complete FLT training provided.
• Use SAP to maintain real-time inventory levels.
• Update stock records and ensure accurate receipts from Distribution Centres.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and securely.
• Manage daily receipts and returns against work orders.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure timely delivery/collection of stock and equipment.
• Ensure safe custody of Thames Water stock and equipment.
