Job summary

Thames Water is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Witney to join the Inventory Operations and Supply Management team. You will safeguard stock and provide real-time visibility while delivering servicing across Thames Water locations.

Key responsibilities include operating handling equipment, SAP inventory management, and timely loading/unloading of stock, with a 45-hour, Monday-Friday rota. Benefits include holidays, pension, and personal wellness support.

Qualifications

• Have previous warehouse experience.
• Hold a valid, full UK driving licence and have your own transport.
• Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written skills.
• FLT licence is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
• Possess basic computer skills, specifically Excel.
• Be comfortable with manual handling, lifting to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely.
• Use SAP to keep inventory levels aligned with real-time holdings.
• Update stock records accurately and load/unload vehicles securely.
• Manage daily receipts from Distribution Centres and process returns.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure timely delivery and collection of stock.
