Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Witney (OX28 5JH) to join our Inventory Operations and Supply Management team. You will provide safe custody and real-time visibility of stock, supporting operational incidents with timely delivery and collection of critical items.

You’ll operate handling equipment, receive training for FLT, use SAP for stock records, and maintain housekeeping. Full-time 45 hours per week, permanent contract, salary up to £32,000 depending on experience, with

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience required.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written skills.
• Excel skills desirable.
• FLT licence training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely.
• FLT driving training will be provided.
• Use SAP to ensure inventory levels reflect real-time holdings.
• Update stock records accordingly.
• Safely and securely load and unload vehicles.
• Manage daily receipts from Distribution Centres.
• Actioning returns against work orders.
• Maintain good housekeeping throughout the site and stores.
• Ensure equipment and critical stock are delivered and collected on time.
• Ensure the safe custody of Thames Water stock and equipment.
